Nirvana burst onto the music scene in a big way in the early 1990s with the release of two albums that sold extremely well and catapulted them to the top of the charts. Unfortunately, singer Kurt Cobain committed suicide in 1994 and almost as fast as they had climbed to the top, it was all over. Even though Nirvana wasn’t around very long as a band, they still managed to put out plenty of classic material that will live on for generations of new fans. For this list, I have chosen what I think are the best 25 songs by Nirvana, and I have included a few cover songs that they did during the Unplugged show in New York.
